Ahoy! It's the future.

There's a lot ahead of us right now. It seems like '08 has been quite a slow year for us. Rightfully so, though. There have been all sorts of great things that have required broken to slow down a bit.

That being said, there's some sweet stuff on deck for broken, and the individual members.

First, individually:

Jon is in the process of making another solo project. It's going to be a sweet acoustic set of newbies and oldies. Keep watching for updates on that one. You may even find tid bits of Joey's vocals and mandolin in that mix!

Joey is writing like a champ lately. Inspiration has hit him in the face like a bully in the locker room. Some possibilities on deck for him in recording with former Allman Brother, Jack Pearson, on his new gospel project.

Whit's found a new life at a new location - she bought her first house! It's beautiful, y'all! Broken has held rehearsals there on a couple occasions and it looks just like a place Whit would build and decorate.

Karen began a new job in Nashville at a hospital. It's going great! She's made all kinds of new friends who've introduced her to Stephenie Meyer books. Any Cullen fans out there?!

Jon is low. He's always been low. He'll always be low. You can check him out this Christmas as the lead in Huntsville's production of Miracle on 34th Street. He's got quite a resume of drama roles, and you won't be disappointed if you can make it out to see this year's show.

Cara is still cranking it out at Photography School. Everytime we see more of her stuff, we totally understand why she's doing it. Her schedule is filling up, but you can probably get your date in if you book early enough.

As the year winds down, we find ourselves heading toward our final show for 2008. We'll try to get cranked back up in January or February of 2009. If you'd like to be there, we'll be at the Cedars of Lebanon State Park in Lebanon, TN. It'll be Saturday, November 1st, at 7:00 p.m. There's no cost except the gas it takes to get there.

Come help us close broken's '08 schedule with a night of worship! We can't wait to see you there!
